Kindred Notes #05
Some of the words that have come up lately in my journal are act, step back, closed fist, rainy days, and nervous systems.
Welcome back to Kindred Notes, where I share bits from my journal, that have brought me peace of mind, growth, comfort, self-nurture, tenderness and understanding.
1.
I don’t need to react or be annoyed at other people’s words or their narratives about me. I choose how to act. I know my truth.
2.
I need to remind myself today, that I can always take a step back. If I am in a pressured moment, I can always step back mentally and allow space for myself.
3.
Someone explained to me today that a brain with burnout symptoms is like a closed fist, that keeps on getting more and more tight. That’s why changes while the brain is stressed feels impossible, as there is no room for it.
4.
I have always found solace and peace on rainy days. It’s like my whole body knows understand everything is okay and I can relax. — a pluviophile at heart
5.
Our nervous systems are all different, therefore, stress is personal, just like our stories.
Love the first about knowing your truth ✨
Love these! Number 2 & 4 really resonate! 🤍
