I wrote this after a long period of healing and recovering from a burnout, where I had to dig deep and really step up to be my own best friend. And then one day, these words came out.
However, before you read it, I want to clarify that I didn’t write it as a front to the roles mother’s have in their child’s lives. Instead, I wrote it as an ode to the role we have in our own, and how we sometimes forget how important it is to acknowledge that even in hard times, we stand up for ourselves, make way to heal ourselves and become our own parent in adulthood.
So touching, Nadja 💛
Beautiful ❤
