Nadja, A poet can never go wrong when appreciating the rain, whether walking in it, listening to it, feeling it on his or her skin, tasting it, watching it, or any combination thereof. Rain is the absolute best. It DOES wash us clean. It is the loveliest weather there is, in my humble opinion. Also, I know the feeling of loneliness you write about, but though we may be somewhere by ourselves, we are never truly alone! I pray this comforts you. Thanks for the share! XO
Thank you Danielle! I think that loneliness is something a lot of us have to grow with, and find out that we aren't. It is a self-discovery journey, isn't it? I wrote this some years ago, when I realised how far I had come, and had found comfort and company in my self.
